Founded nearly 20 years ago by former GM Executive Rebecca Shambaugh, the Women In Leadership and Learning Program paved the way in America for leadership programs designed specifically for women. As the first woman to set foot on the manufacturing floor at GM, Rebecca has made it her mission to ensure all voices within an organization are heard.  

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

SHAMBAUGH’s Institute for Women in Leadership and Learning (WILL) program draws talented women leaders from organizations around the globe. It is specifically designed to increase the retention of top female talent, accelerate growth and advancement of women leaders, and enable attendees to bring greater value back to their teams and organizations. The Women In Leadership and Learning Program helps participants develop core leadership skills:

Learn how to articulate your ideas, speak with authority and get what you ask for.

Learn how to show up as a leader in real time and virtual environments

Understand the unspoken rules and deal more effectively with political dynamics of the organization.

Set boundaries, manage work/life integration and get the right things done.

Identify and leverage a more strategic network.

Program Format

  • 4-day Program conducted over a two-month period
  • Each participant will engage in a series of one-on-one coaching sessions with a certified SHAMBAUGH Executive Coach
  • 360 assessment, feedback from others with developmental action planning are important components of the program
  • Experienced and credentialed faculty, all who have been business executives before joining SHAMBAUGH
