Enterprise Coaching is a unique alternative to the traditional methods for developing leaders within your organization because it builds on the training and experience your leaders already have.
A Unique and Powerful Way To Achieve Team-Group Goals and Objectives
SHAMBAUGH offers a unique alternative to the traditional methods for developing leaders within your organization called Enterprise Coaching. Each leader in the program receives an Executive Coach from SHAMBAUGH who is matched to his or her specific learning/developmental level and particular areas of interest. Together they determine the learning objectives for their 6 coaching sessions and create a roadmap for achieving those specific objectives. In addition, each leader also participates in 3 group coaching sessions that reinforce and expand their individual learning experiences.
5 Key Phases of the Program
- Pre-Assessment and Customization
- SHAMBAUGH conducts individual and group baseline assessments.
- SHAMBAUGH and client identify overall development objectives and measurements for success.
- SHAMBAUGH designs a results - focused coaching initiative that is aligned with the client’s overall development outcomes.
- Kick-Off Meeting
- SHAMBAUGH holds a Kick-off Meeting for leaders and coaches in the Program.
- One-on-One Coaching
- Participants have one or two 60 minute one-on-one coaching sessions per month for 4 months.
- Coaching sessions build on the organization's core leadership competencies, potential derailers, and the learning objectives identified by the leader participant.
- Interim email/phone coaching is provided as required.
- SHAMBAUGH coaches co-create a personalized Individual Development Plan (IDP) with their leader to ensure that the leader leverages his/her strengths and continues to grow in areas targeted for further development both during the Program and after the Program is completed.
- Group Coaching
- SHAMBAUGH facilitates three, two - hour group coaching sessions for the participants during the program.
- Group coaching sessions are active learning sessions designed to reinforce and expand the overall coaching experience.
- Sessions can be a combination of face-to-face and/or group conference call meetings.
- These sessions also include field work for the participants to keep the learning alive.
- Note: These group coaching sessions are not an option for participants. They are an integral part of the learning experience. SHAMBAUGH will introduce new leadership content in this part of the initiative.
- Wrap-Up Group Coaching Session
- SHAMBAUGH conducts individual and group progress/growth assessments.
- SHAMBAUGH shares overall progress and key learnings/outcomes with the Program participants.
- Participants identify on-going activities to sustain the learning and build on their peer-coaching network.
- SHAMBAUGH summarizes overall progress and make recommendations to the sponsor of the Program.
