Nearly 500 corporate leaders attended workshops on Rebecca Shambaugh's session "It's Not A Glass Ceiling, It's A Sticky Floor" and Building Strategic Relationships.
February 11, 2008On January 23 and 24, 2008, SHAMBAUGH was featured at Marriott's Leadership Excellence and Diversity Conference and presented "standing room only" sessions. Rebecca Shambaugh discussed the "sticky floors" - which are 7 common behavioral traits that hold women back from reaching their career aspirations. She gave real examples that highlighted how each sticky floor plays out in business today and gave specific recommendations for getting "unstuck."
SHAMBAUGH's senior consultant, Lynette Demarest, conducted a drill down workshop on the Sticky Floor of Building Strategic Relationships. Conference attendees used SHAMBAUGH's structured approach to assess their current network and expand it both inside and outside Marriott.
