Greater Washington Board of Trade Partners with SHAMBAUGH Leadership
February 5, 2008The Greater Washington Board of Trade has selected SHAMBAUGH Leadership as their partner for providing a series of professional development and leadership sessions for their female executives titled "Women of the Board of Trade." This winter, SHAMBAUGH will present three 90-minute sessions pertaining to the Sticky Floors. Hosted and led by Rebecca Shambaugh, author of It's Not A Glass Ceiling, It's A Sticky Floor, and senior consultants Lynette Demarest and Tina Sung, the series will engage discussion panels of regional female executives and provide “hands on” learning sessions focused on great topics for women leaders.
The first session will feature Rebecca Shambaugh discussing the 7 Sticky Floors as they are showing up for women business leaders today and explore specific recommendations for getting "unstuck." Subsequent sessions will focus on Strategic Relationships: Building and leveraging your Network, and Political Savvy & Executive Presence: Showing your value across an organization.
