Jacelyn Swenson has managed strategic programs and delivered high ROI in the corporate, non-profit and agency environments for more than 25 years. Currently, she is overseeing the marketing, communications, and business development for the Center for CIO Leadership, an independent, non-profit organization sponsored by IBM. Previously she was a program director for IBM Software Group Marketing where she managed worldwide teams to deliver strategic programs that generated market presence, sales pipeline, and business revenue.
Prior to joining IBM, Ms. Swenson held several management positions at GE Information Services where she delivered its brand identity campaign, developed the corporate awareness and consultant liaison programs, and trained senior executives on effective communications. She started her career as an Account Executive for a worldwide public relations and advertising agency and went on to become the Director of Communications for a non-profit trade association.
Ms. Swenson has completed senior management courses at IBM’s executive campus and is a graduate of GE's management and leadership programs, having attended courses at Templeton College in Oxford, England and corporate communications conferences in Antwerp, Paris, and London. She is a member of Shambaugh Women's Leadership Advisory Board and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing.
