Dr. Carol Blimline is a management consultant and an executive coach who works with adults in both group and individual settings. She has extensive experience working with people in organizational settings who want to improve their people management skills, their time management skills and the organization of their work program. As a management coach for Shambaugh, Dr. Blimline also has extensive knowledge of and experience in interpreting a variety of assessment inventories and 360 feedback instruments. Her particular areas of interest include performance and change management, leadership development and strategic planning.
As a management coach, Dr. Blimline has coached mid and upper level managers at a variety of organizations including The International Monetary Fund, The Inter-American Development Bank, Radio Free Asia, The American Kidney Fund, Westat and several U.S. Government agencies. Dr. Blimline also has a private practice in Rockville, Maryland where she works with individuals experiencing a variety of life-span issues and where she also coordinates an employee assistance program for government and business.
In addition to her coaching, Dr. Blimline is a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Rockville, Maryland. She has also taught both Counseling and Organizational Development graduate courses at the University of Maryland and at Johns Hopkins University. She has also researched and published a variety of studies on women and careers and has presented on related issues at numerous professional conferences.
Dr. Blimline completed her Masters Degree at Indiana University and her Doctorate at the University of Maryland.
