
Vice President, Business Development
In her role, Anne specializes in creating customized offerings for a variety of clients based on their needs and goals for the organization. Aligning business needs with SHAMBAUGH's portfolio of offerings is her primary focus.
Anne has more than 14 years of experience working with a broad array of clients including the corporate, academic and non-profit sectors. Her career began as a Multimedia Specialist and Writer for Penn State's Undergraduate Admissions Office where she oversaw the public and intranet Web sites; managed video production; coordinated print publications; and directed all customer interface processes. She then applied this diverse skill set to Penn State's Smeal College of Business where she was the Associate Director of Development and the Director of Alumni Relations. In these roles, she coordinated the alumni involvement of the business school's 68,000 graduates. Most recently, Anne served as the Director of Development for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and coordinated the largest fundraising effort in their history.
Anne graduated with Honors and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Oglethorpe University; received her Master of Arts Degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania; and completed Ph.D. work from the Pennsylvania State University. She is an avid marathoner, spanning events across the country, and is an annual Boston Marathon qualifier as well as a certified Pilates Instructor. She lives with her husband and three children in McLean, Virginia.
